Some of our work highlights of the past year include:

 

•    Providing full legal support to a leading local construction company in connection with its participation in the “Construction of Concrete Highway in Kazakhstan” project, worth a total of $300 million.  This included providing consulting services, negotiating and drafting relevant agreements and the preparation of all of the necessary paperwork.  

 

•    Providing a full range of legal support and legal services to a large Chinese company in connection with all aspects of their development of the Ganja 100,000 T/A Aluminum Smelter Plant Project, a construction project with a total value of $16,558,282.  

 

•    We provided full legal support to a leading international electrical and engineering company in connection with the restructuring of their Baku branch, including the transfer of assets and employees.  

 

•    Acting for World Bank in connection with the independent investigation of the implementation of the Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs) for the Alat-Masalli road under the Second Highway Project.  BНM collected large amounts of data and conducted analysis in order to prepare a final independent investigation report.
